2025-26 Tour Schedule:

Panama: Canopy Tower and Camp with Holliday Park Foundation: March 10-21, 2026

Panama offers some of the most exciting nature in all of North America. Our tour will take us first to the incredibly unique Canopy Tower in Panama’s Canal Zone. This lodge is a former US Air Force radar tower at the top of Semaphore Hill. This amazing location gives us sweeping views of Soberanía National Park, Panama City, and the Panama Canal. The area surrounding the Tower offers amazing biodiversity.

From Canopy Tower, we will travel east to one of the least explored parts of Central America, Panama’s Darién province. This property is an African Safari-style tented camp built on raised platforms with full bathrooms. Here we will look for a variety of specialty species that can’t be found in other parts of Panama. If there is a known nesting site for the magnificent Harpy Eagle, we’ll spend one of our days visiting the nest. The Darién also provides us with an opportunity to visit a native village for a wonderful cultural experience.
